JOB SUMMARY:

First Choice Medical an "old-fashioned" service company in the Eldercare distribution market is seeking a skilled and hands-on candidate for the position of Operations Manager in Training. We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic person who will work and train within one of our facilities in TX or MS in the day to day warehouse operations by performing the following duties:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER, WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and master all warehouse duties to include receiving inbound freight, product put away, and shipping of orders in accordance with company SOP
• Ensures accurate and timely product deliveries to all customers by closely working with LTL and contracted carriers
• Trouble shoot and problem solve customer/warehouse issues
• Coach, develop, and lead the warehouse staff
• Ensures and maintains complete inventory integrity
• Ensures company vehicles are maintained in an orderly manner and operated in accordance with city, state, and federal laws
• Ensures maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment
• Manage transportation and supply budgets
• Execute other responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

You will need to have at least two (2) years of related warehouse experience in operations and supervisory experience; or the equivalent combination of experience. You will also need to have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation. Ability to adjust plans to meet changing needs as well as have the ability meet tight deadlines during peak times. Strong project management and logistic skills are required.
